First law of reflection: Length of workshop = length of reflective thinking (not the length of reflection)
Second law of reflection: What is incident and what is reflected is on the same plane
----------------------------------------------------------------
Based on the First Law: I feel that I have not reflected enough, why? no time to reflect. Indeed, blogging though is easy and has many advantages (broadcast etc..), to me it is time consuming and I do not relish the idea of having my private thoughts and experiences plastered on the net for all to see and comment.
Second Law = what comes around goes around..the world is round, though flattened at the 2 poles..still is almost round. So if I post something, along the way, it will come back to me, though it may take some time, it will still come back. Unlike when we write in our diaries, it is filed away and kept and forgotten. Whereas in our blogs - yikes..it's still there to haunt us many days later..don't like the feeling of seeing what I have lamented, complained and ventilated out in black and white. When we write in our diaries, it is a cleansing process - what is written is soon forgotten and we feel better, never to re-visit those feelings again, hopefully.
